HOW DOES DELIVERY WORK?

Areas and Prices

We deliver all over Cape Town and the surrounding areas including Grabouw, Hermanus, Kleinmond and Langebaan, with a starting rate of R109(area dependant) for up to 30kgs.  After the first 30kg, you will be charged an additional fee for every additional 10kg.  If you live somewhere other than the areas mentioned, please make contact with us! 

We can quote you on a rate to your specific address.

 

Time Frames

All food orders (aside from special recipes) will be delivered within 2-3 working days of payment. Raw food must remain frozen up until you are ready to feed it to your pet so please remember to be available to receive your order so it can go straight in to a freezer.  Our special recipes (for pets with health problems) are made to order so sometimes they take a little longer.  Chat to us about setting up a standing order so you don't have to wait the next time you need your special recipe!

Accessories such as beds, toys, collars, bowls, etc. sometimes take a little longer because of delays with our suppliers.  We will do our utmost to get these to you within the 2-3 working days, especially if you have ordered food as well.  If we really can't get them within that time frame we will make contact to find out if you would rather delay the whole order or split into two orders (which can incur additional delivery fees).  We will do our level best not to let our suppliers inconvenience you!

Please note that some of our accessories are custom-made.  You will know if this applies because you will have filled in your specific requirements like your pet's name or a custom fabric selection.  Custom orders come with a two week lead-time and also include their own separate courier fee.  This will all be made very clear to you throughout the shopping process so you get no nasty shocks!

 

Packaging for the Planet

We really care about the planet and are constantly seeking to reduce our footprint.  For this reason, all of our food is delivered in polystyrene cooler boxes, which keep things frozen for up to 8 hours, and we reuse them multiple times, so please unpack your order when the courier arrives and return the cooler box.  While you're at it, we would love it if you would return any washed packaging from your previous order (food containers, plastic, cardboard, etc) for us to reuse what we can and recycle what we can't!

 

Tracking and Delivery

You will receive email confirmation of the date to expect our delivery, and a tracking number.  All of our drivers have been instructed to phone if no one answers the door and wait five minutes to try get hold of you, but if there is no one to receive the order then we're afraid they will have to move on.  If this happens we can organise for you to receive your delivery the following day for an additional delivery fee, or you're welcome to arrange to collect from us.
